San Francisco, Calif. — On Monday, March 3, Mission Housing Development Corporation had the honor of hosting the swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected Tenant Council at 363 Noe Street.
This three-story development at 363 Noe Street provides 21 income-restricted homes for low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities.
The newly sworn-in council members, including the president, vice president, recording secretary, treasurer, and sergeant at arms, will serve as advocates for residents, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
The Tenant Council serves as a self-governing organization of 363 Noe Street. The principal purpose of Tenant Council is to: Advocate for residents before property ownership and property management, evaluate physical and social conditions at respective buildings, encourage programs and activities designed to promote leadership, self-sufficiency, safety, and education, encourage good working relationships between residents and property management staff and determine the needs of each building.

Following the swearing-in ceremony, residents and council members gathered for a celebration, marking this new chapter of leadership with a renewed commitment to collaboration and advocacy.
