Mission Housing joins The Forest Hill Christian Church to celebrate partnership

San Francisco, CA - On May 30, 2024, Mission Housing Development Corporation celebrated community and a major milestone for the organization, its staff, city officials, and the Forest Hill Christian Church. The event was a resounding success, filled with inspiring speeches and personal stories about the impact that affordable housing will have at 250 Laguna Honda Boulevard.  

This project is the first to leverage new state policies aimed at removing legal barriers to 100% affordable housing developments – made possible by longtime Mission Housing advocates like San Francisco’s City Attorney, David Chiu.

Seeing the warm reception from the local church and its members was heartening. Building trust within the Forest Hill community is essential to pave the way for a brighter future in the affordable housing industry - and this event was a wonderful start.
